Eric McMahon is the hitting coach at Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey.  In 1997, the Casey's batted a hefty .348 as a team on their way to winning a New Jersey State Championship.  In 1998, the team hit .342 and went 18-2.  That gave them the best regular season record in school history and back to back conference championships.  The team hit .356 in 1999 and .353 in 2000 and has won 3 conference championships in 4 years.

Coach McMahon is also respected for his work at developmental baseball camps and clinics.

As a player, he was a four year starter for the RPI (Rensselaer) Engineers.
